Professional Development Funds

UAEA members are eligible up to $200 for conference/workshop fees for professional development (non-credit)
A total of $9,000 is available annually
Funding must be requested and approved in advance of the event
Funds are distributed for three periods each year:
- September to November
- December to February
- March to May

Coursework/Tuition Reimbursement

UA Bargaining Unit Members are eligible each school year to receive up to $2,000 for tuition reimbursement for college courses/workshops taken for college credit to maintain teaching license
$95,000 is available each school year

There are additional free-credit opportunities through Fee Waivers

These waivers applies to graduate level tuition at local university partners.
Applications open and close throughout the year and notification is sent via email to all staff

Licensure Reimbursement

UA Bargaining Unit Members are eligible up to $200 reimbursement for renewal of teaching license
If there are more requests than funding, the reimbursement will be prorated for each member.
